Meet Lisa

Hi, I'm Lisa — and I believe craft has the power to bring us together.

With over 40 years of crafting experience, I'm on a mission to revive lost skills, share knowledge, and rebuild the sense of community that creativity once gave us.

Mission: reconnect people through craft

40 years of craft, a lifetime of community

The story behind the name

With over 40 years of crafting experience, I've seen firsthand how the timeless skills passed down through generations are slowly fading from everyday life. The craft skills my Mum taught me growing up are no longer being taught and with them, we're losing something deeper: our sense of community.

Crafting used to be more than just a hobby. It was a way to connect, to share stories, and to build relationships face-to-face. Today, those in-person connections are rare, and the communal spirit that once surrounded creative work feels distant.

I'm here to change that. My mission is to reconnect people through craft, reviving lost skills, sharing knowledge, and building a space where creativity brings us together. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just starting out, I believe everyone has something to teach and something to learn. Let's rebuild that sense of community, one stitch, one brushstroke, one shared moment at a time.

Our values

What we stand for

Everyone is welcome

No experience needed, ever. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, you belong here. Everyone has something to teach and something to learn.

Community over everything

Craft was always meant to bring people together. We're reviving that spirit, creating real, face-to-face connections in a world that's forgotten how good they feel.

Keeping skills alive

The techniques passed down through generations deserve to be preserved and shared. We're here to make sure they don't disappear one workshop at a time.

Joy over perfection

We're not here to make perfect things. We're here to make joyful things, share stories, and remember how good it feels to create with your hands.

Our WORKSHOPS

A time for making

Our workshops are fun and open to everyone. We invite you into a space with colorful supplies, and the kind of creative energy that makes you want to stay all day.

We run small workshops of 10-12 people, and larger groups of 40-50.  Our goal is to give you real guidance, real connection, and real fun. All materials are included, and there's always a good conversation on the go.
